10u Scrimmage

Good fundamentals are essential to succeeding in any sport, but understanding the mental game is what makes an elite athlete stand out. It's the hardest part of the game to teach and is frequently left out of your average practice. 

Our 10u Scrimmage will be KID PITCH. If you're getting ready to move up to 10u this will be a good opportunity to build up confidence!

This is a great opportunity to get instant feedback and ask questions while playing a game. We'll measure bat speed and pitching velocity, and all attendees will receive an evaluation on all their skills. Learn more »

Who can play?

If you're currently eligible to play 10u on your travel team, then this if for you! Younger athletes can play up, as long as they don't slow down the pace-of-play for the rest of the group. Learn more about age requirements »

What is a "controlled scrimmage"?

We'll start off just like any other game, 0–0, no runners on, nobody out; as we play, we'll pause the game on a play-by-play basis wherever we find a good point for instruction. If the game is moving too quick or too slow, we'll insert runners or adjust outs to create situations for the players to work on.
