Yard Squad High School Challenge Rules

Who is eligible? All varsity and junior varsity high school players who regularly attend lessons with Coach Cook, Coach Rogers, or Coach D, or athletes who regularly attend Beyond the Yard events, are eligible to participate.

What games count? All high school non-district, district, and playoff games count. Scrimmages and practice games DO NOT count. (Sorry to everyone who's already launched their first homer!)

Where are stats tracked? Stats are tracked on the Yard Squad Leaderboard at the cages. If you are unable to update your stats on your own, text Coach Cook or send us a message on Facebook or Twitter and we'll update the board for you.

When does the Yard Squad High School Challenge start and end? Each player can begin tracking their stats on the leaderboard when their high school team starts the first game that counts toward their 2017 season record. Stats are tracked through playoffs—that means bonus points for players who help their team keep winning! Our 2017 Yard Squad Champions will be crowned at the end of the season once everybody is done playing.

What stats are tracked? The Yard Squad Leaderboard tracks total hits, total home runs, and total RBIs for each player.

Who is responsible for tracking stats? Players are responsible for keeping track and updating their own stats. NO PARENTS! If your parents are caught updating your stats for your you will be disqualified.
